Bridal Veil Lodge Intimate Wedding
Danielle and Cris’s whimsical Bridal Veil Lodge intimate wedding had phenomenal vendors. The couple put so much thought into the details of their big day and hired incredible vendors that made it all come together for them. Robert J. Hill Photography captured the day perfectly with his photojournalistic approach. He documented not only the beautiful wedding moments but also the stunning landscape. “This was a dream wedding for me, and it was an honor to be able to work alongside each of these vendors for this couple. Their day was truly unforgettable,” Robert says.
Nestled amongst tall fir trees and waterfalls is Bridal Veil Lodge, a renewed 1927 historic bed & breakfast that will take your breath away. The rustic retreat along the Columbia River Gorge gives you and your guests enough privacy to feel like you’re out in the woods, but with all the modern amenities you need to get ready for your big day.
The burgundy, white, and purple color palette of Danielle’s bouquet from Starflower Flora of Portland, Oregon stood out against the moss-covered stone walls. Using home-grown flowers as part of their design process, Starflower created stunning floral arrangements for this rustic wedding in the woods.
Menus created by Andi at Old City Mail Room for the intimate dinner party were simple yet elegant. Then they were placed on an ivory plate and loosely wrapped with a grey napkin. With over five years of experience in calligraphy and wedding stationery, Andi documents love stories by making words into a piece of art. In other words, “Your narrative is no longer a monologue but a dialogue.”
Ryan and Emily of Larch Provisions dished up the perfect blend of Pacific Northwest, Latin, and South Texas flavors to resemble the combination of Danielle and Cris’s unique backgrounds and the destination of their wedding. Using seasonal, local, and wild foraged foods, Ryan and Emily wowed the guests with a colorful harvest board filled with local charcuterie, farmstead cheeses and seasonal vegetables, Oregon black cod with local vegetables, steak with green garlic and stinging nettle butter, and for dessert a rich spiced chocolate truffle cake with toasted meringue and cherries. Ryan and Emily specialize in a style they like to call “New Northwest,” which focuses on wild and seasonal cuisine.
Public Provisions, led by Melaney and Malia, created custom hand-crafted cocktails to go with the delicious food. By using seasonal ingredients that are symbolic of the great Pacific Northwest, the guests got to sip on something special at this Bridal Veil Lodge intimate wedding.
This vendor line up created a beautiful day for this couple to celebrate their love for each other with their closest family and friends. And we couldn’t think of a better combination of people to come together for such an important day. – WV
