New Year's Eve Wedding at a Private Residence in Central Oregon

This beautiful Central Oregon winter wedding held on a private estate on New Years Eve 2016. The snowy landscape and gorgeous sunset lighting really allowed for some gorgeous photography, taken by Bend, Oregon photographer, Julie Lynn Photography. Surrounded by their friends and family, they had a wonderful wedding celebration. Dessert was served from Ida’s Cupcakes, and florals provided by Autry’s Four Season Florist. As you can see, the decor was simple and elegant. Such a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple.

“I had so much fun with long time Bend locals, Tara and John, at their intimate ranch wedding in Powell Butte, Oregon on New Year’s Eve.  What a wonderful way to ring in the New Year!  The setting was romantic charm meets rustic elegance and photographing it was such a treat!  The ranch was blanketed in a fresh coat of snow and sunny skies were abound with plenty of gorgeous light to take pictures in.  Tara was willing to do whatever it took to get some great photos (which made this photographer very happy!) So we trekked through the snow all around the property, wedding heels and all!  After their “first look” and photos, everyone was treated to a beautiful evening ceremony by the fireplace and a night full of good friends, food, and fun!”

Winter weddings in Central Oregon are absolutely beautiful and in our opinion not taken advantage of as often as they should be. We hope that the Snowmageddon winter we had this last year (2016-17) will not impact your decision to get married here with us come next year. The landscape is amazing, especially with a bit of snow on the ground, and there is so much to do here for your guests if they should choose to extend their stay. Snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing, breweries galore, sledding, ice skating and nearby Mt. Bachelor, and Hoodoo Resorts to name a few…
