Description

Introducing our Winter 2018-19 issue which is full of real Pacific Northwest weddings, elopements and styled shoots to inspire your own wedding adventures.

In this issue, we have included a few indoor weddings with all the industrial and adventurous vibes. The first is our feature article on page 8, and check out “Sole Mates” which starts on page 26. We have also included some fantastic elopements and wedding inspiration at stunning PNW locations with some unique cityscape backdrops as well as the amazing wild, wild west landscapes. On page 48 is our, “Not Your Parent’s Wedding, A New Era of Etiquette,” article. We would love to hear about your own experience with wedding etiquette and how you handled the situations. Depending on the feedback we receive, we may write a part two of this article! The last article I want to mention is our tearjerker, “The Magic of a Parachute” (page 82). The history behind her dress is seriously romantic and just magical.

About our cover photo: Location: Mount Rainier National Park, Washington | Photographer: The Hearnes | Hair + Makeup: Kirstie Wight | Intimate Reception: Copper Creek Inn Forest Retreat | Catering: Chef Sunshine | Cake + Sweets: Sugar Street Bakery + Bistro | Florist: Bramble Floral Design | Couple: Hana + Evan | About: Hana and Evan wanted to do something different for their wedding day, but still wanted to include their close family and dear friends, so they chose to have their intimate wedding in Rainier National Park. They started the day with a romantic first look at their A-Frame cabin the woods, and after a few portraits around there, Evan helped Hana with the final touches of getting ready before they headed to Copper Creek Inn for their lovely intimate reception. The couple ended the day re-reading their vows with just their photographers in tow atop the flanks of Mount Rainier. This ended up being one of the sweetest moments as the day ended with the most stunning sunset full of pink clouds and beautiful hazy light.
